Love love LOVE — best chipper in Dublin by far! In the heart of Ringsend it’s hard to walk by and not buy something — staff are really friendly, costs are reasonable and they cook everything fresh in front of you(so you know the quality!) would highly recommend!

Oh my God, this chipper is lurrrvely! And I’m not a big chipper girl. But their chips are so yum that even I sometimes swap the healthy salad that I dutifully brought into work with me with a portion of their finest. Go and try!

I am a lover of all things cooked, fried and indeed deep-fried. I have, over the years become quite the expert on the sort of food that will no doubt contribute significently to my untimely demise. On then to Ferrari, where they will pretty much fry anything and make it taste tremendous. So, if it is all that good(and it is), why only 3 stars? Simple, service. …Or lack there of, i only asked for 2 bags of chips but with only 3 other customers in the shop i was asked about 4 times to confirm my order and it took aaaaaaaggggeeesssss!!! In fairness, they were good chip but seriously… Aaaaaaasggggeeeesssss!

I had never gone to Ferrari despite it being on the radar for so long because of my love for the chips of Presto on South Lotts Road. But then one day I took the plunge and there I was, at the counter, looking at the board. Needless to say, I went for the old classics: chips and quarter pounder. It shouldn’t be rocket science but it seems to be — I’ve been to enough chippers in my time and so many get them wrong. But Ferrari gets it right. Nice bit of crispiness on the outside but nice and fluffy on the inside. It was love at first bite…

This is a really brilliant chipper becuase the chips are lovely and crispy. This means you have to wait a little while to get them but it’s so worth it. It’s not the most convenient place to pick up a bag of chips unless you’re in the area. If you’re at the O2 venue it’s worth walking over the bridge into Ringsend for the chips and the relative abundance of taxis.
