Express Alteration Tailors

Steer clear, dropped in a brand new suit to have altered and the work was absolutely shocking. Ended up taking it to another place to have it repaired! Imagine having to get a suit repaired despite never wearing it. I could not in good conscience recommend this place to anyone.

The only negative is their cash only policy, but everything else is great.
I had a jacket without a lining and decided to go crazy. Went to the cloth shop and got myself a nice colorful piece and they sent me to express alteration.
I’d had very bad experiences with another place where they not only ruined a jacket with a botched simple job but were particularly nasty about it, so naturally I was a bit apprehensive to try a place I’d never heard of.
Not only were they polite and efficient, but they respected the deadline AND did an absolute brilliant job. They even said it would be trickier than most linings as they had nothing to go on, but the result was very professional.
I don’t mind paying the price for a good job, it’s much better than paying a little less and ending up with something that looks like it was sewn with hooves.

I always go to this place for all my alterations. They have done a really good job on the simple things (shortening pants, fixing zippers) to the more difficult one (making many changes to an occasion dress). I have not been disappointed and would recommend them to others.
Both people who always run it are really nice, and they are pretty flexible so if you need something done with less time, they usually manage to do it for you.
One negative thing is that they are a bit pricey.
