Small coffee shop with a good selection of cakes and slices to accompany your coffee, whilst tempted, i managed to resist and went with the vietnamese chicken broth to warm the soul on an autumns day in Dublin. It was a bit pricey for my liking at 6.50 but it was full of flavour and came with a fresh slice of brown bread and a piece of fruit.

… Oh, it’s just average! Coffee is really not up there with the greats of Dublin, just no TLC or love shown plus major grape is places with flat white on menu, if ye can’t do a flat white, don’t put it on the menu! Enjoyed the waffle with berry and yogurt, waffle was a little over cooked so was a little on the hard crispy side as opposed to soft and fluffy but all the same, the yogurt and berry compote was quite tasty… I’ll definitely pop back and try something from their pastry/cakes which looked appetising though will be skipping the coffee, maybe a tea or soft drink. I wanna 2.5 star this!

I like this place. It caters more towards office people in the area, because most of their menu is 2 go(see what I did there). The girls behind the counter are freindly and they have some mean sweets and sandwiches to serve, so don’t go here for«just» coffee on a sugar low(has happened to me already). There is a few seating areas indoors, but it is mainly meant for a short stop. If you want to spend sometime here, check it out on a sunday as they have seating outside.

Without a doubt, best coffee and scones in Dublin. Pear and vanilla scones are to die for! Downstairs is great for lunch.

The line here can get a little overwhelming especially because the store is tiny — however it moves pretty fast(be warned, the cashiers can get a little snappy). I do think that this place makes some darn good scones. I’ve tried the berry and can say they do it well, but I have to stress that the vanilla pear scone is to die for. They work fast and make great scones — definitely great for a quick before work(or even afternoon) treat.

Stopped in here one morning with friends for a quick coffee and raisin roll. We sat outside which was enjoyable. I personally drank green tea, but heard no complaints of the coffees. I moved here a few months ago and discovered how much I enjoy raisin rolls. It was fresh and yummy here. We also got the chocolate muffin– tasty. Would come again

This independent coffee shop opened pretty recently, a year or maybe two ago, and is the best tasting coffee in the area. There have to be about a thousand-million coffee shops within one-hundred metres of it but it manages to stand it’s own against all the odds. It would seem, in this case, that there is some accounting for taste. Coffee 2 Go has a seating area indoors, a back patio and on-street seating to boot. All in all this makes Coffee 2 Go the best place this end of Baggot Street for a sit-in or take-away coffee

Yay for independent coffee shops! They’re few and far between nowadays. Coffee 2 go has managed to survive(even thrive) despite Starbucks opening up a few doors down the street. Every morning there’s a queue out the door for coffees on the way to work. I like to stop in for a raspberry scone, they’re delicious and huge. They also have hearty soups that Kate M. described. Very nice. Does exactly what it says on the tin — coffee to go.

Coffee 2 go is quite limited in what it offers — it’s pretty much just tea/coffe, scones/pastries and soups. Most people go here for their early morning coffee, but they also do a really big trade at lunch with their soups too. They always have two vegetarian options, and two meat options. I love coming here in Winter as the food is real hearty — there’s nothing like a big bowl of meaty soup to warm you up when it’s cold outside. It’s a litle pricey — I think a soup would set you back about € 6/€ 7 but you also get it with brown bread and a piece of fruit of your choice. I don’t mind paying it as it’s always real tasty and very filling. Quite a healthy lunch option too!
