When I saw this place opening up, I thought that it would never last. But it has. And surprisingly there are lots of people who work locally and feel like an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet at lunch time. If that’s what you feel like, then this is your place.

Changs seems pretty empty for the majority of the day. But say around half twelve/one o’ clock this modest little chinese restaurant descends into utter madness. The smartly dressed and composed business men and women of Baggot street’s various office buildings turn into a pack of wild animals trying to inhale as many plates of beef in black bean sauce as is humanly possible into their tiny lunch break window. The chinese here is basic fare. Does the trick and there’s lots of it for 8.80. Just pick your time carefully. You may end up leaving with chow mein all down your front if you’#re not careful in the midst of feeding time.
