Butlers Chocolate Café

I love chocolate and this place makes a mean hot chocolate in Dublin. Some of their chocolate is also really good. A great Irish enterprise that can stand on its own with some of the big names in the chocolate world.

I couldn’t resist going in, after all the window said ”chocolate bar” and I’m not disappointed that I did… I got a tea and my friend got a coffee and guess what, it comes with a FREE chocolate! Thank goodness I’m an out of town guest because that could get dangerous…

I enjoyed partaking in the deliciousness of Butlers while visiting Dublin so much that I bought a box to bring back for my mom (at one of the Butlers on the streets of Dublin). Unfortunately, I ate the entire box while I was enjoying the grand city!
We left for the airport too early and I couldn’t get to one of their locations before we departed. Lo and behold! A Butlers was in the airport! I bought some chocolates for my mom (not as big as a selection at the store) and had a quick espresso.

Two for one on chocolate gift boxes? Don’t mind if I do! Chocolate is always a good idea, but around Christmas time, Butler’s makes for a great gift. It’s simple, well presented, and downright classy :)
Edit: Surprise Christmas visitors! Good thing I had an extra box of chocolates to pretend I had gotten them a gift all along!

Short and sweet, this smaller desk of the larger Butler’s Café in Dublin International Airport’s The Street, this Butler’s Chocolate Café serves piping hot chocolate, tea and coffee to the gate racers and late minute shoppers on their way to the sparse offerings at the bottom of Pier B.
Located just inside the entrance to Pier B (gates 21 — 35), across from the Surfbox internet stations (where that vile Crocs shop used to be) and just before the haven of Duty-​Free booze, bangles and assorted pre-​flight gifts a few steps down; this is your place for boxed (and loose) Butler’s chocolates, gift bags, mugs and other assorted Butler’s items that you may have missed on you walk past the larger sister store a few minutes previous.
There’s no seats here, so be prepared to take your choccy to the gate.
