About 10 years ago I recall announcing to my other half that this was the worst Burger King in the world, and to avoid at all costs.
I think since then I was in it maybe once about 8 years ago. Fast forward till today. Late lunch due to meeting overrun, dashing about town trying to post parcels and then finding out the McDonalds I was going to go to was closed.
I leg it over to Ilac to go to that McDonalds. The que is 20 deep. I look across the way, BK is empty.
Should I go? Why is it empty? Should I not know better? They don’t have cajun chicken wraps, but that banana I had at 9
is well gone.
5 mins later I tuck into my fries. Gross. Gross. Even the ketchup tasted strange, I checked the BB date to make sure it wasn’t off.
Then I try my Whopper with cheese and extra mayo. Edible, but kinda flavourless. Ok I know, fast food is generally flavourless, but this was extra special flavourless.
My diet coke was slighty flavoured water with the main ingrediant being ice.
Never again. I had thought in 10 years they might have improved a slight bit. I was wrong. I’ve been to BK’s in airports that were gourmet dining compared to this place, and thats not saying much!
So, over 7 euros to throw away most of my lunch and walk away hungry.
