At Boqueria we specialise in creating a non-formal atmosphere for people to share high quality tapas with friends and family.
History
Established in 2015.
Las Ramblas of Barcelona heaves with life and noise and sights and smells. There are face painters, portrait painters and self painters every five metres, along with caged birds, exotic florists and side walk cafes.
All manner of life can be found here. Halfway down the street is the Mercat de La Boqueria de Barcelona, the fabulous municipal market in the Ciudad Vella which houses the tastes and smells of the city on its endless stalls and tapas bar where chefs, locals, and visitors taste the newest flavours of the market and find the best new ingredients to bring to their restaurants and homes.
This is the inspiration for Boqueria Dublin.

Business Owner
From as young as 11 years old I knew what I wanted to do, and that was to be a great Chef. From then on I began helping in my Mothers restaurant and have been in love with the kitchen and food ever since .
Since 1994 I have worked in some of the finest restaurants in Dublin and across Spain, which I consider as invaluable to my progression as a Chef.
I have twice been nominated as Irish Chef of The Year by the Restaurant Association of Ireland and won the award for Best Hotel Restaurant by Paolo Tullio in 2012 for my work at ‘Citron’.
Over the past six years I have gathered and trained a group of talented chefs and staff who we fondly call Team Matt Fuller. This group have displayed outstanding ability and shown a talent for creating top quality dishes, and they have joined me here at Boqueria.
My next goal is to set up and run a respected, financially sound restaurant with a reputation for great food & wine. I want Boqueria to be one of the sought after places to go in Dublin.
