This is a fantastic Boots — of course it has all of the usual boots offerings but the pharmacy really sets it apart.
There are two pharmacists and both are really great. They offer really good advice and I usually go in here before I decide to visit the doctor. A perfect example was last month when I had a really sore throat. They now offer a «Sore Throat Test and Treat Service» so they took a swab from my throat and were able to tell me in a few minutes what the cause was. As it was not bacterial (Strep Throat) they told me i could treat it with over the counter medicines. If it had been Strep Throat they would have sent me to my doctor to get antibiotics. It only cost me € 7.50 and saved me the time and expense of visiting my doctor.
On many occasions they have given me really helpful advice about the medicines I was taking and they are very friendly and approachable.
