I owe you so much. Swift, Wilde, Connolly, Synge, Marx, O’Casey, O’Flaherty, O’Brien, Vonnegut, Behan, Kerouac… A true local library, expert selection and wonderful staff. I remember being taken to this library as a child, in the days when Ballyer had a Dunkin Donuts(come back!) and getting lost in it. Support your local library. They don’t come better than this.

Place rating: 5 Dublin, Republic of Ireland
This is one of my favourite libraries in Dublin. It is an extremely spacious library and is very well stocked. I am constantly amazed at the amount of newly printed books which are put on the shelves. This library would put the main library in the city centre to shame! They have a huge amount of information in this library and there are regular talks eg on local history. They have around 12PC’s for public use. The children’s library is divided from the adults library so it is is much quieter as a result. They have a really good local history section and a very interesting lego building on display. I won’t spoil the surprise ;-)
