I have played this course before, every time I go there the price seems to go out. As previous says € 6.50 a round of 18th holes. This is now € 8.50 and € 2.50 for club hire. I think for price you might as well go to a local golf course for € 20 a round. As well as that there is now footee available on the course. It is actually on the same course, the holes arent the far from P&P holes. Today when trying to tee off footballs were whizzing by my head. Next time Ill go somewhere cheaper and quieter for pitch and putt thanks.

I suspect that I am not a golfer explains the difference between my opinion and that of pagalinus. The Ballybane Pitch and Putt was excellent fun for a a group of eight of us all bar one being golf novices. The course was a little difficult to find, and whilst we had been in Dublin for less than 24hrs neither of our taxi drivers had heard of it either — thank goodness for iPhones! I’ve put the Google satellite map up above, it is on the intersection between the R120 and R134(Nagor Road). Note that Google Maps has it recorded in the wrong location, further to the east. The course fees are € 6.50 for 18 holes and € 3.00 for club hire. There were(to me) a reasonable selection of tees, balls and other accessories for sale in the Portacabin that fronts the course. Snacks were also available at a cost. Whilst the tee mats and flags were undoubtedly tired they still seemed perfectly serviceable and didn’t hamper play at all. The greens seemed in good condition and each bunker had a rake provided. Being novices we enjoyed that there was no sense of exclusivity(that was rampant at our hotel a few miles with adjoining golf course) so we could relax and enjoy the facility. Overall we all had a fantastic afternoon and would recommend to anyone in the area.
