Avoid at all costs.
Scam artists.
Parked, read the signs that said you have to pay by phone. Because we don’t have an international plan we went to find wifi. 5 mins later we come back and have a boot on the car.
Borrowed a phone to make a call — which of course brings us to an automated system forcing us to pay by credit card to release the care. 125 euros later we are now waiting to have someone come unlock the boot within the next hour.
Parking costs 2.80. Would have been fine paying but we don’t have Internet service on our phone in Ireland.

Great spot to park on the north side of the city for shopping but seriously folks… watch the road markings… The exits and ramps are not laid out in an intuitive manner!
This is where you park for the Morrison hotel — the hotel has a deal offering their lodgers a reduced rate — worth knowing!

Another day, another car park review!
I must say, I kinda regret having such allegiances with Trinity St Car Park now. Jervis St is definitely the spiffier option!
It’s got everything you could want in a car park and more. Let me break it down for ya.
— € 3/​hour parking — cheapest I’ve found in the city centre so far. (the search continues…)
— Really wide drives /​roads /​paths (what are they called in car parks?!!)
— Lots of space within the individual parks
— You can stick your credit card in when you enter, and again at the end, which means you never need to queue at those blasted machines again, or lose your ticket
— Free parking for the first hour if you shop in Dunnes
— If you shop in M&S, you can pull up to a specific parking bay, call down to the shop, and they’ll bring your shopping straight up for you, so you don’t have to do all the ‘lugging’
— Free buggies on loan from the customer service area in the centre if you want to ferry lazy, sorry tired, kids ;-)
— Free battery charging service for your car, if you’re a greenie electric lover
— Free tyre pump service.
How good is all that?!
Minus points though for the following reasons:
— No lovely aul fellas sitting in a little hut waitin for a chat (I salute you Trinity)
— No numbers on the spaces as far as I can see. Very very bad for a severely directionally challenged moron such as myself.

All pay stations were working. The lift is SLLLOOOWWW and the stairs weren’t open for use to the ground floor. They close a bit early during the week if you’re going to a show, but other than that, a nice, seemingly secure place to park your Morris Minor while hiking around Dublin.

obviously I have confused the carparks on jervis street… my previous review is of the car park for the jervis shopping centre, also on jervis street. Sorry about that!
Since it has been pointed out to me that the real Jervis Street car park is open late and quite reasonable I have parked there a fair few times to much satisfaction.

Central location.
But the lads in there are the nicest bunch that I have ever met — I don’t know what happy juice they are drinking but they are always smiling and as a result I am always smiling in their company too!

I agree with Annie. The guys that work here are always in such good form! I love the central location, and it’s never been full when I’ve gone in. It is a bit on the pricey side but when you are parking in Dublin, it’s cheaper than the quays and lots of other areas for street parking, so it’s a-​ok by me.
The only drawback is some of the drivers who drive down from the upper levels way too quickly, the turns are not very tight in this carpark, given how tight other areas can be, but when there are drivers throwing their cars down the ramps, it is rather dangerous. Just be careful.
