As well as Domestic Extensions and House renovations and refurbishment, we design for Restaurants, Cafés, Shops, Boutiques & Hairdressing Salons, Art Studios, all from concept through completion; we’re working with Advertising Agencies and Telecommunication Multinationals finding unique solutions on specific projects for each client.

History

Established in 2007.

abgc is Andrew Brady and Gearóid Carvill, both UCD graduates, and is a professionally qualified, registered and insured architectural practice.

Together they have almost 25 years of architectural experience between them from work in Dublin, Sydney & Chicago.

They established a practise with the aim of devoting 20% of working week to self directed non-​commissioned projects, in areas of furniture design & fabrication, exhibition design & installation, photography and other design and artistic projects.

This non-​commissioned works has lead directly to commissioned projects in the same areas including exhibition design for ABSOLUT Vodka and furniture & installation design for ‘Music from Ireland’ funded by Culture Ireland & the arts council.

In this way their normal office work now consists of both architectural and ‘alternative’ projects.

Having gained a variety of experience in Architecture working in Dublin, Chicago and Sydney Gearóid, who graduated from UCD in 2000, established private practice in Dublin in 2007
