A little bit of information about us,

The business was founded in the UK in 2006 and since then, 9 years later, we have created over 80,000 individual garments to date & changed the way tailoring is perceived within the market. Our main vision was to offer affordable tailoring to everybody. We believe everybody should have a tailored garment that not only fits there frame but budget and personality.

A Suit That Fits has collected multiple business and retailing awards a long the way.

An idea was born in Jan 2013 to consider expansion across the Irish sea, A Suit That Fits Ireland was born in May 2013 and now spans three studios.

History

Established in 2006.

School friends, Warren Bennett and David Hathiramani, founded the business in 2006. The inspiration behind it is their love of suits and technology. The suits are produced in Nepal, where the idea for the company originated while Warren was volunteering; he met a tailoring family, who made him a fine hand-​tailored wool suit. Back in the UK, Warren and David realized that they could use their respective engineering and software backgrounds to simplify and improve tailoring for the internet. When they trialed A Suit That Fits at Hampstead market, they sold their first suit within twenty minutes of opening and quickly realized it was a viable business idea. So, working through the night, they created a simple website that was the first version of www​.aSuit​That​Fits​.com.
