I really love the clothes in this place, and when I dropped in the people were very nice and helpful. I left with a bunch of clothes and wore my new purchases in California. However, when I wanted to order from the website I had an unpleasant experience which left me very dissatisfied. I ordered a purple coat for 100 euro and a romper for 15 or so. I paid for international shipping. When I received the items, which I had to collect at the post office 20 minutes away, there was a brown coat and no romper. I was disappointed because the filter used on Instagram misrepresented the product. I emailed the admin and told them that the coat was a different color than the photo, and that there was no romper in site. They told me the romper had been sold and did not mention anything about the coat. Not only would I have not paid for international shipping for just one item, I would have never purchased something for 100 euro if I knew that the company would not accept it back if it was a COMPLETELY different color. They did offer me a 15 euro voucher but when I tried to use it they never responded. Maybe I am spoiled because the US has great costumer service, but I do not like being mislead and then ignored at my expense. My advice is don’t order online and don’t expect a response if there is a mix-up.

I love love ! I love it so much I don’t even want to write a review — I don’t want anyone else to know about this little gem ! I want to keep it and its clothes and accessories all to myself ! But it is so worthy to have as much business as possible… I love vintage but vintage shops in my opinion go from one extreme to the other — it can be either manky looking clothes that have been worn to much and pure crap that is being sold, or it can be overly expensive and not proper vintage — but vintage«styled» if you get me… And made to look vintage or maybe not even that old and unique maybe just something from about 5 years ago. This spot however hits the nail on the head. None of it is crap. None of is just shoved in a bargain bin or shoved together on a rack where you have to bury your head in to look… everything is laid out so perfectly — even better than most big retail spots… The stock is fab, proper 60s and 70s stuff and in excellent condition!!! Prices can vary hugely depending on what it is and what material it is etc. This is the real deal and it is a pleasant experience when shopping… even just to have a look around… The changing rooms are spacious with a nice big mirror and all ! I love love it … NOCARDTAKENHERECASHONLY

I can only follow previous reviews with the exact same enthusiasm about this little shop on the Quays. Though everyone who plays ‘Nights on Broadway’ by the Bee Gees on entering kinda wins me over straight away so yes, I was a bit biased. The selection is great, it’s tidy and well laid out. If you’ve avoided vintage shopping so far cause ‘rummaging through a pile of stuff’ puts you off, then this place is for you! They even do alterations there, what’s not to love?!

This here is a shop for anyone who thinks themselves as a bit of a fashionista, a bit of a clothes connoisseur and a bit of an all-round dynamic dresser. 9 Crow Street is also ideal for pre-festival purchases; think bad-ass rocker, hippy and«Pink Lady» all mixed into one. They have great outfit ideas on their Instagram too, if you’re lacking ideas or inspiration for the perfect ensemble. Generally a nice buzz about the place, the staff are cool but not too cool to be friendly. They’re actually super-friendly and always up for giving out advice and suggestions, and not afraid to tell you if those shot shorts are doing nothing for your toosh…

Though I tried as hard as I could, I could never remember the name of this shop to do an actual review on it, so this is a little overdue. So from the outside, you’ll probably twig that this is a shop for those who like a little vintage. I’m a little wary of vintage shops at times, given that they can be quite expensive for what is really second hand clothes — or tat — depending where you’ve stumbled in to. 9 Crow Street isn’t overly expensive though and the clothes on sale are good quality. Will you walk out of here over burdened with bags? Absolutely not, but you will walk away with something classic or something cute. In fact I think they’ve hit the nail on the head by deciding not to clutter the shop with crap, and keep everything very neat. The shopping experience is less stressful here because it’s more open space and yes there is less footfall, thus increasing your ability to browse around dreamily. I myself got a funky knitted woolly hat here and checked scarf not too long ago for 5 euro each, so yes I was bloody impressed and have returned. Nice clothes, nice shop.

Hang on a second — there are no reviews up yet?! 9 Crow St is undoubtadly one of the most pleasant shopping experiences in town. Though the name is derived from their original home in Temple Bar, the guys have now moved to a more spacious premises on Ormond Quay. And quite a place it is. Full to the rafters with both vintage and new threads, it’s a veritable wonderland. Think jumpsuits, 80s revival tracksuit tops, 90s revival neons(still can’t believe 90s is vintage now…) and some really lovely one-off handmade stuff. The staff are really friendly and the shop seems to radiate warmth and welcoming as a result. I would highly recommend a gander! And if you’re too lazy to step outside the door, they sell all on their website, and have a deadly blog with look books and the likes for inspiration.
