As a tourist, I had some concerns about getting a SIM card while traveling in Ireland but was able to get it taken care of without hassle at the 3 store. The staff was lightning quick to serve customers compared to American cellular stores and quite a bit more knowledgeable as well. For exactly a 20 Euro note, I was set up with unlimited data over 4g pretty much everywhere I went in Dublin, calling and texting to in network numbers, and some credit toward other calls if needed which I didn’t use. It even worked with fast 3g data in Northern Ireland though I had to enable data roaming for some reason. The connection was very fast and I often tracked up to 20 mbps across the city. They even helped verify settings on my phone for me. Great plan for travelers who need connectivity.

Picked up a sim card here for my visit to Dublin and London. I like their service, the all you can eat data made it possible for me to use my phone throughout the two cities. The only annoying thing was they didn’t take my US credit card even though they all had the security chip. I had to pick up cash around the corner. I didn’t run into this issue at any other store nor restaurant, they all were able to take our credit card.

Good store. Pretty much as all of them — network operator — stores. My experience is that staff would be more open and truthful, than just selling you what you want. I mean, they would say(some of them) that«this and that» is not very good in a phone and wouldn’t not follow the trends. Everything over there is very straight forward, less hustle place. I am coming back here when I need an I always find assistance that I need.
