J Henderson & Son is a family run, third generation Hardware shop.

Established in 1959 by Jimmy Henderson and has been in business in Donegal town ever since.

Over the years the stock ranges and services have grown but without sacrificing the «old style hardware shop» feel.

We pride ourselves on being the shop that sells those hard to find items and enjoy solving customer’s DIY problems.

We have a huge product range that goes from small fixings and kitchen cookware up to large fire resistant safes!

We are agents for Dulux paint and have many years experience in the painting world.

A Locksmith service and key cutting is a large part of our business.

We have a wealth of experience in the domestic and auto key cutting world.

We have the latest in computer controlled key cutting machines as well as the most up to date key cutting software.

The Baby Loft is our nursery department where we stock bedding, safety catches, fire guards, pushchairs, high chairs, cots, baby monitors and more.
