I specialise in service and repair of photographic equipment.

My main work is digital SLRs, lenses and flashguns but I work on analogue cameras and lenses also and enjoy working on medium and large format lenses.

I have previously done repair and service work for IADT and NCAD and for many other photographers and hobbyists.

On the photography forum on boards. ie I am well known as the user «zerohamster» for my repair and service work and have many happy customers recommendations throughout various posts.

For certain common faults I can offer 1 day turnaround of service as an express service such as the Canon EF-​S 17−85mm f/4−5.6 IS USM and the Canon EF 50 mm f/1.4 USM so if you have a fault with this model I can offer the fastest turn around you will find.

I also offer an IR conversion service for most DSLR models so if you have a request let me know.

I have a background in IT and have been training for nearly 5 years in photographic repair and service which has lead me to where I am now.

I have been a member of an internation photographic service industry society called «SPT» or «Society of Photo Technologists» for the last 3 years and I have many important contacts in the industry around the globe as well as a huge resource for specialised tools, software, service manuals and parts.

Personally I was always pulling things apart when I was a child to see how they worked and to figure out the secrets inside (usually to the dismay of my supportive parents and granted they usually didn’t work afterward). I kept this mechanical interest throughout my life.

I took up photography as a hobby 5 years ago and carrying on my traditions of fixing and figuring things out and I started to teach myself photographic repair before I found SPT and now 5 years later I am running my own photographic repair business.
