Specsavers Opticians

For € 10, I got a comprehensive eye exam and written prescription. I mean a *way* more comprehensive exam than I’ve routinely gotten in Canada or the US… and for a much higher price.
I called the day before and made an appointment, and was taken to the upstairs eye clinic area and seen quite quickly when I arrived, only about 10 minutes’ wait. The staff and technicians were all friendly and knowledgeable and efficient. I wasn’t in town long enough to take advantage of the amazing deals they had on glasses and contacts, but would have done so if I’d had a few more days. They had an impressive array of frames in every price range, and I saw several I wanted. When I go back, I’ll hit SpecSavers at the beginning of my trip, instead of at the end!
