It wouldn’t be the place I’d do my weekly shop as it’s quite pricey but the quality of the in-store produce is second to none! Great for a bit of a splurge every now and again for a special event. We stopped to pick up fry materials and a ridiculous amount of freshly baked bread(they have a huge selection!) on our way to pamper Daddy O’Connor for father’s day! They also have beautiful cakes and pastries which are equally fresh. We were in and out quite quickly, using the self service tills which are not as useless as they used to be(The phrase ‘Unexpected item in bagging area’ inspires a murderous rage in me after a few very annoying attempts in Tesco). They even had a rack of complimentary umbrellas so you won’t get soaked bringing your shopping out if its raining, lovely :)

Always thought of Superquinn as a bit posh and fancy. The Limerick branch is lovely; however this branch, like the Northside shopping centre itself, is a bit grim. Everything is a bit shabby and grey and not particularly appealing or welcoming. Positives: Good fresh fruit and very very tempting bakery Plenty of parking Some unusual brands Negatives:Not particularly cheap Strange merchandising-not an intuitive place to shop. Things seem a bit higgledy piggledy and illogical Not a very aesthetically pleasing store With Clare Hall Tesco and a Lidl and Aldi nearby, and a Dunnes in the same centre, they could probably do with smartening up a bit to drag in a bit more business…
