As a regular to Berman and Wallace, I can say the coffee is great, the staff are attentive and do their best for you. Yes, it can be busy at the lunch time and I don’t usually eat here, but on occasion, I have ate here and give a positive review on food too. Another plus is they are open from early and they cater for events like the other reviewer here mentions. The menus are impressive. Back to the coffee and there’s a loyalty card, free coffee every couple of weeks! Continued good wishes to Berman and Wallace. I believe they are in city centre too?

They catered communion and confirmation parties for me in my home this year, hot lunch delivered on the day and set up arranged by Nicholas(every home needs Nicholas) so guests arrived to warm welcome. As hosts all we had to do was enjoy ourselves. N preparation in advance and no cleaning up after. Just great memories from a lovely day, wonderful food for young and old, gracious service and relaxed atmosphere. What’s not to like?

Since my last review B&W has come to be my favourite place to have lunch. For me its the quality of the food that does it. You can order sandwiches to go or sit down and have a hot lunch. They consistently use great suppliers and every lunch I’ve had there has been fresh and delicious. They do this amazing burger, but they also do fish really really well… oh and that smoked chicken penne dish they do — seriously yummy. The only downside I can see is that sometimes the sandwich queue is pretty long… and that I’m eating perhaps too many giant, delicious lunches. I find myself really surprised that the other reviews aren’t that positive — as I’ve never had a bad experience there and I go there a lot. The food far surpasses anything you’d expect from somewhere in a random business park. I’ve always found the staff to be really lovely.

Situated in a desolate soulless office park in SoCoDu, Berman and Wallace has something of a captive crowd. Luckily for them, as only proximity will keep people coming back. Service, on those rare occasions one can separate one of the many staff from the gaggle formed around such exciting things as the coffee machine or register, will be with a smile, at best, 1 in 5 times. Overpriced and underwhelming, the survival of this café is little short of a miracle, the only place I have felt the need to specify I don’t want food burnt, and had a friend shouted at by a staff member for sending back genuinely inedible food. The nail in the coffin for this place is the unfortunate habit of charging like the Ivy for this less than pleasant dining experience…

I am not sure about the food because I didn’t have anything there yet. Unfortunately the coffee is not great. Get a regular latte and you’re on the safe side. Order a double shot, they’ll just cram more coffee into the group handle instead of actually giving you a double shot. Not happy!
