At Romayo’s we offer our customers an extensive menu of well-​known traditional foods such as fresh fish and chips, Burgers, Southern Fried Chicken and kebabs. There are new items constantly being added to the menu to satisfy changing trends in customer’s tastes. The new wrap and baguette menu has proven to be very popular across all of the stores.

All of our stores are renowned locally for their high quality fresh foods. Only the finest ingredients are used and all of the foods are prepared freshly on site. This includes our crispy batter, home-​made sauces and southern fried chicken breading. But most importantly only the highest quality potatoes, which are tested on a daily basis, are used at all Romayos stores and to most people’s surprise every single Romayo’s chip is still hand cut on site. We believe that it is these traditional practices and the emphasis placed on quality ingredients that makes our food stand out over all of our competitors.

In 2014 Romayo’s Diners were voted Ireland and Leinster’s Best Take Away Restaurants at the Eatie Awards!

History

Welcome to the Romayo’s Diner. Romayo’s Diner is the signature brand of the D. Macari group. Romayo’s founded in Bolton Street. The group is a family run business which is owned and operated by Dominic Macari and his family. The beginning of the group can be traced back to 1959 when Dominic’s parents Libero and Giulia Macari opened their first store on Bolton Street in Dublin City centre. The business is now in its third generation of the Macari family. The first and original Romayo’s Diner store is located in Clonsilla Village in Dublin 15 and was opened by Dominic and his wife over 20 years ago. There now 9 Romayo’s stores and 2 sister stores, Tony’s Diner and Macari’s Diner, which make up the group. These are all located across Dublin, Kildare, and Meath. The two sister stores are located in Birr, Co Offaly.
