History
Established in 1920.
This bar has been here almost 100 years. It was originally called The Railway Bar as the train station was on the same street just further up the hill. Unfortunately all the railway stations were closed in West Cork around the 1970s.

Hi, I’m Maura. I’m in the pub business 20 years now. I did my training in London, which was a great experience. I took over Con and Maura’s Bar Clonakilty 2 years ago. It’s great because I am originally from this area. It truly is a beautiful little bar. I love meeting people whether they are customers calling in for a drink or my Airbnb guests.
