Baby and Me is a midwifery facilitation and resource service for parents. It is a facility that specialises in meeting the unique and ever changing personal needs of each Parent and infant from conception through pregnancy, birth and beyond. This personalised approach will help Parents to be, understand and learn simple natural techniques to nurture themselves and their babies, so they can nurture each other and calmly journey together.

History

Established in 2011.

‘Baby and Me’ has been set up by me — Sarah Pettit-​Mee: Mother, Nurse, Midwife, Certified Infant Massage Instructor and facilitator for’ Parents to be’.

Through my own personal and professional life I have come to appreciate the nurturing and calming effects of ‘Positive Touch’ and how their benefits can be so beneficial for parents and their babies. So following on I have introduced these simple and natural techniques into Baby and Me incorporating them with knowledge and expertise of my Midwifery background.

Meet the Business Owner

Sarah P.

Business Owner

Sarah is a mother of 6 children ranging from early twenties down to preschool age and in between having her children, trained as Nurse initially, then qualified as a Midwife in the UK in 1995, then has worked both in hospital and Community setting in Mainland UK, Guernsey Channel Islands, Germany and now back in Ireland. She has experienced both hospital and homebirths. She qualified as an IAIM Certified Infant Massage Instructor in 2010 and is studying to be a EFT Practitioner, Journey to Life Training in 2011.
