Great little Guesthouse, a little pricey for a bank hol weekend. It’s clean, good food and rooms are spacious. Would go back again

I can’t get over how expensive B&Bs in Ireland have become. This one is comparatively well priced — it cost me 50 euro for a single room for a night. The bedroom was particularly lovely and very, very comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good, although I really would have liked to have it later and spent more time in bed! Service is in the non-​feudal Cork style — don’t expect any sort of sycophantic, customer is king attitude! You’ll take what you’re given and you’ll like it. The point is, though, that you probably will actually like it!
