History

Established in 2010.

Vitar was formed by a team of experienced industry professionals. With many years working in the security and facilities management International market place, it was clear that a low cost, easy to use Cloud Visitor product would fill quite a large gap in the security market.

From a clean sheet of paper, the Vitar Application was designed as a multi lingual, multi tenant, single instance Saas product, with customisable functionality. This design won a software innovation award at the prestigious CEBIT Conference in 2012, Europe’s largest technology fair.

Vitar visitor manager was one of the first Cloud Visitor products on the Market, now with customers in 4 Continents, crossing all sectors, it is delivering improvements in security and health & safety with affordable technology

With 30 years experience in the International Corporate Security and Health & Safety markets, 10 of those as an International CEO of a UK Sector Leader, I have been able to appreciate what is needed to provide innovative local solutions to Clients across 4 Continents and if there is one thing I have learned during that time is that simple is good!

In particular, from initial design, product development through to Market release and building customer bases, I have launched a number of successful business applications.

The combination of this experience gave me the ideal background to create a suite of Cloud based tools, which includes an intuitive, single instance, multi-​lingual, multi-​site People Attendance Management (PAM) platform, enabling staff, visitors, vendors, members, residents, tenants, students, parents to be scheduled, verified, registered and badged through an automatic process.
