Pub food in Ireland can be a real bore but Sam Adams takes it up to a whole different level. the term«gastropub» may be overused but it certainly applies here,. They serve food all day until 6pm in a welcoming atmosphere. The service is professional and cheery and the food is fresh and tasty. Try the creamy dill-laced chowder, the velvety chicken mushroom supreme or the«sumo» fries: fat potato wedges coated in sweet chili sauce, yum! If you’re looking for a great place to spend an evening it’s also a great choice. They have live music most nights, everything from trad to acoustic and the craic is always mighty. Full disclosure, it’s my brother-in-law’s place but I am a very picky New Yorker and I tell it like it is!
