Also stopped as it looked nice and bright, staff were on the ball even taking an awkward order and made a pasta dish in request.
Portions were big, price was reasonable and food was cooked to order.

Looked nice and bright and friendly when we drove by so we stopped our third night in Malin Head. Service was mediocre at best. We were the only ones in the place to start and when we ordered our appetizer we watched the cook run across the street to the gas station/​grocery and run back with a small bag of what we can only assume were ingredients for our dinner. Very small portions but presented well on the plate. Food was edible but not what either of us would call good. We won’t be back. Pub food at any nearby pub would have been so much better and more entertaining as well. After eating a portion of our food we left and went to the Seaview Tavern and had a few great appetizers to make the night more of a pleasant experience. Skip this place which might not even still be in business by the time you visit.
