Dome first opened its doors on St. Stephens Day 2004 and quickly become known as the best Family Entertainment Centre in the South East.

At the Dome we have 12 lanes of 10 pin bowling, 8,000 sq. ft children’s adventure play centre, Diner, Video Games, Slot Machines and Kiddies Go Karts. We are located on the outskirts of Carlow Town beside the Talbot Hotel and in the vicinity of Dunnes Stores & The Ivy Rooms Snooker Club.

We open from 9am every morning till late but check relevant pages for individual area closing times.

We are closely connected to special needs groups around the Carlow area, all of which come to Dome to play bowling numerous times each week. We regularly host training events and competitions for Special Olympics Leinster and those who qualify may get the chance to represent Ireland at the Special Olympics World Games.

In recent times, we have diversified ourselves into being a host for a number of large scale events such as;
