Near Cabinteely House(close to Park Drive entrance), there is also a café(The Stable Yard) and a Japanese Garden that should not be missed either if you decide to visit the park and the playground.

Love this park. A huge children’s playground including a zip line(very cool), grounds that are immaculately maintained and a few bits if art scattered around for good measure. Also noteworthy — the sand pit in the playground, it includes a water fountain, diggers and an Archimedes screw… brilliant, my lad loves it.

Lovely park in Dublin, with dog off a leash section, play area and Cabinteely house. It has a Café and Japanese garden as well. As David said, it seems more controlled and in better care than most parks. Always plenty of walkers around but for runners like myself, it is one of the most hilly parks in Dublin, we relatively few long flat sections. Good workout overall!

In my day this park was the one you went to to play football and to hit a slither because it was so big and had lot of places to play. Whats more it has a stream and many little wooded areas where you can get lost in very easily… this means lots of fun for us kids! It is a more controlled park than the others in the area, so while there are specific opening times there is also a lot more care put into the maintenance of the park. Lots of flower beds, good paths and finely cut grass. keep an eye out for the play ground which is a new enough development, it looks huge to me so for a small kid it should be something like heaven.
