Ubiquitous Restaurant & Bar

I have used Unilocal many times to find restaurants but this is my first review. My family have been traveling around Ireland for two weeks from the U.S. Food has been from poor to good but tonight’s dinner at Ubiquitous was great. My son, daughter and I set out to find a quick bite because Mom was back at the room not feeling well. It was late but the owner welcomed us and sent soup home in a take out for Mom. We shared the sirloin and smoked chicken pasta — both great. Good atmosphere — almost 50s diner feel with easy country style music. Smells, sound and ambiance good. My 9 yr old asked what ubiquitous meant — I quickly said unique only to remember that in fact it means ‘everywhere, common’. In fact both are true — it has common foods that are uniquely presented for your consumption.
