Our bakery specialize in traditional old style breads and confectionery. We also make a full range of bakery products including Birthday, Christening and Wedding cakes for those very special occasions.

History

Established in 2013.

The Keegan family have been involved in the bakery business for four generations and managed to master their individual fields over the years. It was with this knowledge and commitment to old style baking that inspired us to start our own business and reintroduce people to the taste of traditional baking using recipes and methods handed down to our head baker, developed in our own bakery and sold in our own shops.

Business Owner

Hi, Im Stephen I am a forth generation baker and confectioner. My passion for this trade began with working with my dad at home in our kitchen and when I left school I got an apprenticeship working in the old Bewleys Bakery were I spent four years working with some of the most talented craftsmen of their time. From there I went to work in some of the finest bakeries in town such as Johnston Mooney and O Brien, Gateaux, Superquinn and Teatime Express. It was always my ambition to trade under my own name so when the opportunity arose in the great town of Bray, Co Wicklow I decided to take it so here I am two years on making and selling good quality breads and confectionery.
