This is the BEST place to have a real pint in Ireland. The welcome is second to none, you are not a stranger but a new friend when you arrive… Go to the Green for a bit of craic and some great music…

This update review of The Green Bar has been overdue.
There has been a change of the guard at The Green Bar. And I have to admit at first I was sceptical. A TV in the Green Bar? For real?
But there was nothing to worry about, Eoin and Ed are playing a blinder with Green Bar 2.0.
There has been others changes too, like a stellar smoking area out back, which is always spotless the few times I’ve been out there. Wine by the glass (or bottle), nice wine.
As I’ve said, a TV, which is on for terrestrial sport.
And of course the Guinness is still the best.
Moving with the times and I’m so glad they did. Ensuring the next generation experience what I’ve been lucky enough to since I was eighteen.
The best local in the world.
