Established in 1972.

Michael McLoughlin

Raised in Carrigrohane, hampered by the lack of a formal education. Michael studied electronics and radio telephony by night. He was the 1^st to pass this night class. He went on to travel the world on-​board merchant navy ships for a number of years, as a radio officer.

Michael McLoughlin went on to become a successful entrepreneur.

He started McLoughlin Enterprises Ltd in 1972.

The company operating name is AlertAlarms.

The 1^st service the company offered was business and home security

systems in the cork area.

Brendan Has taken the reigns at AlertAlarms. Brendan notes:
