What a fantastic experience from start to finish! Super friendly and helpful staff, very thorough and professional examination with detailed discussion regarding my health and needs.
Although I hadn’t had an eye test for over 3 years my prescription had only changed fractionally and instead of trying to sell me new lenses and frames the optician advised I keep my original lenses for the time being. However my prescription sunglasses were broken and I had decided it was time for varifocal lenses to enjoy reading in sunshine (however rare that is!) and the assistant who helped me to choose something new really took her time to find frames that suited me (including pointing out the selection of sale frames with an all inclusive price first!) I am waiting with anticipation for their arrival. Would totally recommend this first class opticians.

Picking out new glasses is roundabout the most confusing thing you can ever do, they all look the same. Luckily, here they do it for you. They cycle through 20 odd pairs with a certain frustration and then suddenly (gasp) «they’re perfect!» and you leave under the impression that your glasses are somehow ‘cool’.
Within a day you’ll have forgotten what your old pair looked like, and have trouble explaining the new pair without looking at them. But the friendly staff here have reassured you that not only are you not a nerd, but you’re actually a bit of a legend.
