Again, they are keeping up their professionalism and politeness. I have also noticed they are renovating the waiting room putting a monitor that displays the queue time of your car. Also a sign of Desk Advice location surely helps fresh customers to find it. Just for the record: This time the Tea/​coffee was out of order but I suppose they are not managing this service which is outsourced to an external company. Tv with Sky News was on. Re-​test was rapid, done in 5 minutes. This time we got another guy and was as well as for the previous one professional and polite. He also informed us where he parked our car :-) This time we passed. Thanks also to Gowan Motors in Ashgate ;-)

watching your car go through the series off tests on all the machines is almost as scary as doing an exam or doing your driving test!
its so funny to see all the noses squashed up against the glass watching and waiting anxiously like a first time dad to be, then the moment waiting to have your name called and told your car has passed; or not if that is the unfortunate case.
in the last couple of years the Nct test is getting harder to pass and if the car fails on a small technicality such as broken windscreen wiper they give you 28 days to do a retest, unlike a couple years ago you could drive to consort, get a new wiper and be back half an hour later and get your passing certificate.
but suppose having regularly tested cars means safer vehicles on the road.
