My favourite hostel in hongkong, lots of activities, cool people, cool rooftop terrace, and clean! This is the only place to be!

After hearing horror stories about hostels in HK, including my sister’s who went last year, we decided to do our due diligence and researched the heck out of HK.
I’m happy to say all that research paid off. Yesinn @Causeway was the best option by far. EXCELLENT location, 2 min walk to Causeway Station, ³⁰⁄₄₀ min away from the Airport.
The people at the reception was nice, nothing to report there.
Common Area on the 2^nd floor is super nice, it has a small kitchen, a computer and phone for the guests to use, free coffee/​Tea and massage chair! which I loved. I actually fell asleep on it and my friend took the less flattering picture in the history of pictures (Thanks for that Sil…)
Our room on the 7^th floor was actually very nice, super clean and quiet. We had our own bathroom, shower included, so we didn’t have to go to the 4^th floor to the communal restrooms. The beds were comfy, and even though I got the top bunk, was super easy to get up and down from it (the ladder was actually bolted to the wall)
Also they have a terrace @4^th floor were everyone goes to hang out, so it’s a good place to meet fellow travelers and have a beer.
All in all Great Stay! Fully recommend it.
Would definitely come back next time I’m in HK.

It is never easy to find a good quality hostel in Hong Kong Island (unless you are fine with the Chung Hing Building…) Anyways, I first went to this place because my friend was visiting Hong Kong and he found this place and asked me to go check it out. Surprisingly it is located in the centre of Causeway Bay and just 2 minute walk to Time Square and the rate each night was just around HKD$ 200. I probably will give it a try if one day I am homeless as it is definitely a bargain for all.
The common room is very cozy and as a hostel, it is where you will get the information where to go around Hong Kong and meet up with people. They have computers and printer for use; and a kitchen right next to it. The staff are very young and funny which is also a plus.
The room was rather nice, the only disadvantage might be that you have to remain your curtain down as it is in Causewaybay and you should know about the seriousness of light pollution in Hong Kong, but it could be easily fixed. The room was very nice and definitely not noisy at all. But given everyone comes here to party, so who needs to sleep anyway?
And the highlight of this place is 100% the rooftop. It is like a free beer garden. Of course you need to buy your own beer but supermarket is just around the corner. The rooftop is very spacious and nicely decorated where you can chill, get drunk and meet up with friends.
I highly recommend this place for tourists as it is definitely FAR BETTER than other hostels in Causeway Bay.
