I remember coming here when I was a tiny kid and the pudding items used to be fairly cheap, but now the prices has sky-rocketed through the roof and I have no idea why it’s happening :(Yee Shun Milk Company originates from Macau, and is best known for their milk pudding and egg pudding. Other notable menu items include: instance noodles or macaroni with satay pork, pork chop in bread(豬排包), and the milk tea. I personally always get the milk pudding(雙皮奶) – it’s absolutely delicious! The name of the pudding directly translates as(double skin milk) and it’s because the pudding has 2 layers of «skin»(the fatty part of the milk when it solidifies, if that makes any sense). If you get the milk pudding cold, the layer of milk is much more noticeable. However, I prefer my pudding to be hot, because it’s sweeter and milkier that way, in my opinion. You can also add in red bean, lotus seeds, etc, to your milk pudding for a few dollars – expensive but worth it. Yee Shun Milk Company is a must try in Hong Kong!

5 stars for double layered steam milk, 1 star for service(quick indeed, but putting a smile on a face or greeting the customer wouldn’t hurt, would it ?) so that’s an average of 4 stars… I have always excelled in maths ;-)

Service is warm and in time! However, the milk bowl size is smaller than chain store in Mong Kok.

Classic Hong Kong style milk dessert place. I come here every time I’m in Hong Kong. Their double layered steam milk is so smooth and milky. Love the cold one in summer. The ginger steamed milk is better for the cold winter days. The service is casual HK service, not much greeting or smile, but you can expect your food on the table really fast! At times, there is line up outside but not too long. Like any other hk food places, expect to share table with others

Great place for some typical Hong Kong Double layered steamed milk. Very good. I live the cold version. You can also get Portuguese style pork bun and Chinese style egg sandwich. Price us extremely reasonable.

Love how they have this in Hong Kong as well. First tried it in Macau but now I enjoy dessert more than I used to. Sometime there is a lineup but at time you could just walk right in and share at table. Service would be casual and expecting you to order fast and don’t stay to chitchat for too long. However, the double layered steam milk is indeed very tasty. It is warm, thick and smooth. Flavorful of milk and a mild touch of sweetness. Other desserts taste fairly good as well. If you wanted to order food as snacks, lunch or dinner, they serve salty food too. But I would imagine they do best with milk product. I would recommend this as a must try for tourists.

Get the double layered steam milk. Other custard items are ok so don’t miss out on double layered steam milk. Enough said.
