Vibes

I really like this place!
I’m not sure if it’s because every time I’ve been it’s after a very busy day of meetings, and I know once I get there it means I get to rest a little, or if it’s because of the open air, comfortable lounging feel Vibes gives as soon as you walk towards it.
This is a very relaxing, informal atmosphere. It’s located on the 5^th floor of the Mira Hotel. Sofas and comfortable chairs, accompanied by low tables, metal lotus flower, and bamboo stocks, give a calming vibe to everyone there.
The drinks are strong, delicious and refreshing. Appetizers are really good, we love the French fries. I know, you may think «you can get French fries anywhere» but these are excellent. The Quesadillas are good too.
If you are looking for a more lively night, go Wednesday — Saturday when they have a live DJ, and Thursday is Arabic Night with belly dancers.
They also have a hookah bar, and since it’s «al fresco» the smoke doesn’t really bother any other of the guests.
During the day is a nice place to relax but, at night it’s fun, upbeat, and great spot to meet people for a «pre-​game» drink or two.

No doubt that vibes has a very good environment for shisha. Great light, music for shisha. However, that service there is terrible. I went there a few days ago, none of the staff have a smile on their face. They keep getting the wrong drinks, and look clueless. Very disappointed.

Vibes The Mira Hong Kong is one sexiest hookah /​shisha lounge I’ve ever been to. The rooftop patio space is gorgeous outside the 5^th floor courtyard with a lush outdoor foliage. You really wonder is this Hong Kong? Holy Shit! Everything about the garden, fire pit and running waterway takes your breath away. Everything from suited staff, private cabana and live DJ music and impeccable ambiance fills the space.

Vibes The Mira Hong Kong has a large hookah station is set in the center of the lounge where Khalid works his magic with fruity flavored shisha pipes. For $ 180HK, it’s not a bad deal for some good quality Al Fakher tobacco. I preferred the mocha cherry over the fruitiness of guava. It is smooth. It endures longer and is quite subtle.
What a relaxing way to end the night after all the hustle and bustle of travelling. Don’t go anywhere. I’ll be back!
