Tsui Wah is my go to place for baked pork chop. I happened to had it twice at the airport just cause I didn’t really had time to go otherwise. With that said, their service is pretty terrible. It’s something to consider considering that you’re at an airport and expected better from these servers but they’re rude and they honestly don’t give a shit. Everything is for some reason, self-serve. Which might just be for the better because of their terrible service. When I mean self-serve, I just mean like they bring you a jar of water and cups and your pour yourself. When you want to share food, you basically get it yourself or else they pretty much give you attitude about it. With that said, baked pork chop is my favorite at Tsui Wah. I’ve had it many times in HK, and this is basically everything I wanted. The right amount of cheese, the sauce taste where they made it exactly the way I want it, and the pork chop taste. Sometimes you get a baked port chop where you have the sauce right but the pork chop isn’t so good or even worse where they have the pork chop tasting pretty good but the sauce is just terrible. With that said, my small little complain would be the pork chop’s fat. They have a lot of fat in the pork chop which is not my favorite. Still, as my favorite baked pork chop, you still get a 3 despite that you’re more expensive than any other Tsui Wah. It’s to be expected as you’re dining at the airport.

We really wanted an amazing last meal in HK before flying out — this was it! Ordered the Roast Meat set(roast goose and siew yoke) and curry lamb chops. WOH! Flavors! Textures! The goose was perfectly roasted, the way you’d expect anything roasted in Hong Kong to taste. Crispy and smoky on the outside and tender and flavorful on the inside. The lamb chops were meaty and cooked very well in the coconut curry. Portions were quite generous and price was very reasonable(about USD12/person). We didn’t try the other dishes but I’m so glad we chose these. The restaurant is spacious and we didn’t have any wait time. The staff were attentive but only a few spoke english. Unless you have any specific questions — menu pointing always works for us. Satisfaction to the max. I will definitely eat here next time I’m back in HKG.

Very bad service, unfriendly waitors, seems you own them lots of money, don’t suggest come to this restaurant if you want to treat yourself well. Also food quality is bad as attached pic. Asked two times for baby chair, never responded

After a 13 hour flight rom SFO with just a tiny lunch the day before, I was starving! This place hit the spot. The line moves pretty quick, the server spoke decent English, the food was tasty, and they had beer. Done deal.

Everyone always raves about how HKG Airport’s restaurants /food selection is so awesome. After passing through the airport twice during this most recent trip abroad, I would have to agree. There is such a wide selection of delicious restaurants to choose from, and we came to this one(at the recommendation of my local HK friend). Queued up in line, waited for our table, and ordered a couple items to dine-in. (1) Hainan Chicken Plate — my husband ordered this dish, since he loves to eat Hainan Chicken. The chicken came without any bones this time, incredible. The sauce they provided was excellent too, and the meal came with soup and white rice. The soup broth was packed with some potent flavors, which I’m not sure how to describe. Tastes very«Chinese.» haha :) (2) Red Bean Coconut Drink — this drink was good; only HKD $ 29 and packed with red beans in a milky coconut elixir. I gained weight just from drinking this! Overall, this restaurant was a good introduction to local Hong Kong cuisine — the selection is plentiful and full of dishes that local HK people would eat on a daily basis, including buns, fried rice, noodle dishes, fish ball soup, and more. If you’re craving some food while waiting for your flight at HKG, stop by here and tantalize your taste buds!

This is one of my favorite Hong Kong cafes and I’m glad there is one at the airport! Their set up is to-go. You stand in one line(on the left side) to pay and order. Then, you grab your receipt to stand in the other line to the right-where you hand them your receipt when you get to the front and they prepare your order. I can see a lot of people going to sit down to wait for them to call your order, so don’t make that mistake! CRISPYBUN: Costs 19 Hong Kong Dollars(32 with a coffee/tea). This is a bread that is slightly toasted with their own unique butter spread and drizzled with condensed milk. It doesn’t look like anything fancy, but I love this so much(insert really happy face here). This is one of their most popular items and it’s a must to try at least once! SATAYBEEF W/INSTANT NOODLESINSOUP: Costs 40 Hong Kong Dollars. This order came with scallion scrambled egg and a mini crispy bun. Their scrambled eggs is not your typical american style… its a little runnier looking, but the taste is pretty good! I really enjoyed the dish. It’s what you would expect it to taste like. Satisfying order though! FISHBALLS&FISHCAKES W/FLAT RICENOODLESINFISHSOUP: Costs 44 Hong Kong Dollars. I ordered this and it was alright. It comes with two fish balls and two fish cakes, but the noodle quality wasn’t too great(what’s to expect from an airport right?!). I added the hot chili oil into the soup and that made it ten times better. Overall it was ok though. HONEYLEMONTEA: Costs 22 Hong Kong Dollars for hot and 25 for cold. I ordered it cold and it comes in a small cup. Make sure you squeeze or poke the lemon with the straw to add some lemon flavor! It’s really refreshing and I’d order this again and again! Tips: Expect long lines here! Leave your trays on the table after because someone will get it for you. And make sure you look at the menu before standing in line or take a pic of it on your phone to look at it while in line(the only menu is located out of the way to the left of both lines, not above the cashier). Cheers-enjoy food and free wifi LOL!

Ate dinner here before night flight. Ordered bbq pork, hainan chicken, fish with noodles. All tasted satisfactory. Located in HK airport, terminal one. Tables were a little greasy. A little like fast food. Three items 355HK$(about 50US$).

Last chance 茶餐廳 before leaving HK. Menu a little leaner yoga in town & mostly sets, which if you order, comes quickly. Mediocre over all but you get what you expect.

Tsui Wah is my mom’s restaurant of choice when seeing us off back to the great US of A at the airport. It is reasonably priced and serves up mostly passable food, I still remember the shitty restaurant at good old Kai Tak airport(RIP) which was expensive as shit and served food that was well nigh inedible!!! Tsui Wah is a basic Hong Kong style café which you see me write so often about, I like the more western styled ones personally, this is a more Chinese version. While still serving western style drinks such as coffee, tea, sodas, etc., the emphasis is on Chinese BBQ, noodles, rice plates, chow mein rather than sandwiches, pastas, steaks. Don’t get me wrong, they do have selections from all those styles mentioned, but the western food items are not their strong suit. Their afternoon tea specials are pretty kick ass, for the normal(or $ 1HK extra), you can get the fishballs soup noodles, satay beef lo mein, or fried fish fillet on French bread and garlic toast with a drink or a soup(HK style borsch). The lunch special is even cheaper, but there is only one choice. Though not great, it sure beats café de coral and Mickey D’s. Sure the service sux usually, but it is still table side service and you don’t have to bus your own tray like the 2 fore-mentioned excuse of «restaurants». 清倉令郎聽湯

I had my last meal here before boarding the plane to SFO. I love their baked seafood rice plate and I had to have it before leaving Hong Kong! I was very grateful that Tsui Wah was one of the food options in the airport!

Not a bad place to fill yourself up before boarding the plane for some dreaded airplane meal(of course, unless you are flying first class). I find that this restaurant usually has a longer line than others, though the wait for the food itself isn’t long. They have a huge menu, and lots of drinks to choose from too. Their breakfast combo has some mediocre dim sum and a congee, which honestly is more than what I can eat. The food is not as good as the one in the regular restaurant, but if you want some traditional Chinese breakfast or lunch — fast — then it fits the bill.

2 star for the food + 0.5 Star for the fast and friendly service Catching an early flight is never fun! But flying out of Hong Kong International Airport(HKG) is always fun as there are numerous food choices of different price range to choose from both before and after Security Checkpoint. Since I have to dine with the nice driver that gave me a ride so we ended up coming to Tsui Wah Restaurant for a quite Breakfast. Yes talking about quick, maybe it was a little tood quick! The food we order arrived in less than a minute after we placed our order! I do understand that they really want to turn tables and make sure all the travellers can eat and catch their flights but by doing so the quality of the food cannot compare to other Tsui Wah locations I had been to! 脆嘩奶油豬 + 炒蛋 + 香滑奶茶 Toasted bun+fried egg+milk tea: A perfect combination for breakfast. Love the simley cup that the milk tea was served in! Sadly my egg was lukewarm and watery My toasted bun was soft and cold But I got in and out of the restaurant within 15 minute! So fast and efficient!
