This is my second try at The Venue. It is a fairly new restaraunt so we can cut them some slack as they are getting established.
On my first visit, we were the only customers in the place. They mixed up out orders and the meat was way undercooked. The beverage glasses were dirty with visible lipstick marks from previous customers.
You could tell that the staff meant well, but they didn’t really have a clue.
So now I sit here on my second visit. I’ve been sitting here alone at my table listening to the great live music from the young lady singing and playing a guitar. But I have yet to be welcomed, given a menu, or asked if I would like a drink. Maybe I’m invisible tonight?
Anyway, I’ll go enjoy a drink and some Italian food at Paisanos next door where I can still enjoy the great music coming from the Venue.
Maybe I’ll check back in a few months and see if they have gotten their act together, or gone out of business.
