Food is flavor less. They charge you for the tea and peanuts that were preset on the table without letting you know it’s not complimentary.

Won’t come again ever. Noodle is too plain and there is no salt. Nothing belongs to Shanghai at all.

Way better than Crystal Grand, everything from the XLB to the Dan dan with chix was done right. Very comforting and tasty. Staff was Western friendly. I’ll be back!!!

Listed on Forbes life as one of the top five restaurants for a Chinese dinner, and regularly ranked amongst the best restaurants in Hong Kong. Their reputation is well deserved. Simple, traditional dishes done perfectly. The«mountain buns» are a must try!

I did not know this belong to Shanghai Min group which are reowned for mid to high end Shanghainese cuisine that they play around with fine Chinese dinning. This is a chain service with quality food. My friend brought me to their store in Hysan Place long ago and the taste is good. More Chinese, than Jade Xiao Long Bao which are totally influenced by Cantonese culture. It carries lots of dumplings, noodles(!) part from Sichuan or Shanghai main dishes. Their beverage options even covers hot and cold barley water. Though they are smart enough to highlight exclusive tea selection. That is always something I desire for a Chinese restaurant. This is absolutly a value-for-money…ignore they are poorly located in all those food court. That makes it budget dinning. :)
