Sugo Sushi

S.C.B and the Spy-​Da rolls are my absolute favorite. This place is good for modern, non-​traditional sushi rolls.

Sugo sushi is one of those fast food concepts that makes you think «oh my god why didn’t I think of that.» There are far and few in between really good concepts that you wish you had beat their creative geniuses to the punch. Chipotle is one of them. It is massive in the United States and going to continue their success I predict. Sugo is a fast food, sushi roll store. Brilliant!!! Who doesn’t like Fast food? WHo doesn’t like sushi? No one! So amazed by this, I was curious enough to go in and order myself a salmon and avocado roll even though I wasn’t particularly hungry. There are rolls for you to choose from, like chicken terriyaki roll, Tuna roll, vegetarian roll, etc. I love salmon and I love Avacados so no brainer. They asked me if I wanted it sliced or not and I asked how they normally serve it and they told me sliced, so Sliced it is then! TO be honest, its not an amazing sushi roll right. I mean it’s really not the point. The point is, you can now have the option of having sushi readily made, as a fast food at a fast food price. That’s the point! Also, they serve miso soup along with many variations of rice bowls, which I have to try next time. Unagidon’s are my favourite.
Their seating is exactly like a fast food joint. Side tables along the wall, and stools. They also serve healthy juice bottles and Ja coconut juice for a refresher.
