Great food. It is the first stop I make when I get off the plane when passing thru HKG. Friday and Saturday gets busy but worth the wait time. The bar next store is great place to hang out while you wait for a table.

Ok, not the most authentic Malaysian food, but it’s as good as it gets around here. Set lunches available 11am– 3pm, but be prepared to wait for a seat during the lunch rush before 2pm. A good variety of choices and each set includes: soup of the day, main course, dessert, and drink all for $ 75 + 10% service charge, which comes out to $ 83. I opted for the beef masala and was not disappointed. The food is nomnomnom yums!

Can’t understand how they can survive with overprice plates and frozen seafood. Their drinks are not Malaysia nor Singapore style. They add toffee to my red bean drink and it really weird.

Mention Sabah and my mouth start watering. It’s automatic! I cannot recall how many times I’ve been there for the last six months but every time they live up to my expectations. Every single time! And I have tried different dishes each time. The restaurant isn’t very big, and it’s popular in the area, as it’s usually full at dinner time. I would highly recommend making a reservation if you are planning to go on a weekend for lunch or dinner. Last time I was there we ordered a morning glory as an appetizer for a couple of us. As always, it is a great way to start a meal, or as a side dish for your meaty of fishy main. My friends and I ordered the beef Rendang and the chicken in butter and tomato sauce. Their meat dishes always come with plenty of sauce and the meat is so tender, you don’t need a fork at all. If you are feeling particularly hungry, I would suggest you order some roti or rice on the side. We didn’t because the portions are usually quite generous and filling. Just be warned that most food on their menu is quite spicy so make sure is at your tolerance level! The service is quick and they’re generally very friendly. A ‘plus’ is that the kitchen is separated from the dining area from a glass so you can always peek in to see them working(and why not, to see how clean their kitchen is!). Prices are reasonable around 80 – 100HKD per dish. Now I’m craving some Malaysian food at Sabah so badly…
