One of my absolute favorite beaches in Hong Kong. Black sandy beach, calm waves (and quite shallow) and gorgeous views (the sunset here is breathtaking).
Pui O is also well-​known for clam digging — you actually see more and more people come here solely for that. The government really need to start doing something here because the beach is getting dirtier every summer and the clams, honestly, is not fit for eating… The only time I ate the clam, I ended up with a pretty bad skin rash the next day, which took me almost a month to fully recover!
So come and chill under an umbrella but leave the clams alone.
