I like this little place! I enjoyed Comfy ambiance while I sipped on my ginger ale and my seafood pasta. I’d say that prices are steep for pasta (168 – 220 HKD) for a single serving but you do leave full. Appetisers also run at $ 150 HKD on average.
The seafood pasta is the most expensive pasta on the list because it’s seafood. So I imagined juicy medium sized prawns with rings of calamari and medium sized clams. What did I really get? Salty small shrimp that’s the size of my thumb nail, calamari pebbles, and small clams half the size of my thumb. And I’m not even exaggerating. The sauce used was tasty though. Oh well… My company got lasagna, pesto pasta, the spicy meat pasta. All dishes looked «normal» — nothing special.
But I do give the folks here a 5 stars for service. We did make a reservation for Monday night but for some reason it didn’t show in the system. But they went out of their way and found a way to accommodate 5 pregnant women comfortably…
We skipped on dessert. Didn’t seem too «yummy sounding» on the menu.
Would I visit again? Probably not since there’s other Italian places to try…
