Police Officers’ Club

My father is a retired police officer. I can always gain entry with either him or my mom. Great location. I have had meals at the restaurant. The best asset is the swimming pool!

This is a place you would have gone to if someone in your family was a police officer or your friends invited you– strictly members only. Tucked away by the Royal Hong Kong Yatch Club is the POC– Police Officer’s Club– this place is for the use of officer-​ranking members of the police force.
The club’s design is very attractive and it certainly doesn’t look like its government run. It is a full facilities clubhouse that had a pool, bowling green, multi-​function courts, two restaurants and a bar. There are also various facilities for kids and conference activities. You could literally spend a whole day in there and indeed in my younger days we did do that.
Everything in club was well organized and neat– the restaurants there weren’t exactly great but it did the job. The bar on the ground floor was something different because they overlook the bowling green and it has a colonial-​esque air about it. the gym room, as you would expect from a force that stresses on physical fitness– is well equipped and caters for every sort of training there is.
Last but not least would be the club shop– if you were looking for police memorabilia or sports equipment there is no better place to find it.
