This is part of the Maxim chain. The service and quality are on par with what one would expect from Maxim chain. We ordered a Peking duck. It was ok, but the skin seems not crispy enough. However, the presentation was quite good and interesting, There are also a few interesting dishes, eg. ladies finger cold dish. It is a simple dish, but the sauce was intriguingly delicious.

A very typical place where the pekin duck is so yummy! Only bad point is that one of the sides we ordered arrived at the end of the dinner but the rest was really perfect and tasty!

Food is generally good and yummy here. I come here a lot because of their half off promotion for American Express Platinum card holders. One complaint about their Peking Duck though — they won’t give you enough wraps. The dish will include only 20 wraps but that is definitely not enough for a whole duck. This set up forces you to order an extra plate of wraps for $ 40. And then you ended up eating only about 5 extra wraps and leaving the remaining 15 wraps in the second plate go to waste. This is not cool at all because at many other Peking duck restaurants, you get free refills on wraps and condiments until you finish the duck. Also their wraps are a little gummier and moist than the authentic Peking wraps. We complained about this inefficiency to the manager and he told us to wrap at least two pieces in one wrap which we already did. This seems to only happens at this Mong Kok branch though. There was no such issue last time we were at the admiralty branch. Or maybe it’s a new policy but it is quite off putting for customers.
