Had two massage therapists here; both were untrained laypeople who had no knowledge of anatomy whatsoever. They kept in hitting my kidneys, putting excessive pressure on joints — all in all, this stressed me out more than it relaxed me. Time to see a chiropractor to undo the damage.

On a Saturday after grabbing a late lunch with a friend, I decided to find a place to stop by and get a foot massage. After walking through Central I stumbled upon Oriental Spa as they had a streetwise promotional sign outside their main front door. Upon entering they said they could definitely take a walk in — they actually only had one other client at the time. So I got a head, shoulder and foot massage. I cannot adequately describe in words how incredible it was. From the careful attention and time spent on my feet and calves to the glorious head massage, I was literally in heaven. At one point I was so relaxed I even fell asleep as the chairs are large, plush reclining thrones of comfort. It was overall just a wonderful relaxing experience and only cost about HK$ 300! I’ll definitely be going back.
