Ngau Cang

This restaurant is in one of those old factories. I always wanted to try those places as it sounds so secretive and not as crowded. Before I went here, I did look it up online and seems like the reviews are rather mixed. Therefore, I did not have high expectation but it turned out quite nicely.
Maybe we were rather lucky as it was not full-​house. The place is fairly small and I can imagine if it is full-​house, the situation will be quite unpleasant. But again, luckily it did not happen to us. The food were quite fresh, including seafood. (As shown in the picture above, the crap legs were exquisite). There was not as much variety of food but they all tasted quite good, which was quite unexpected after reading all those mixed reviews.
This is a half-​buffet restaurant, meaning there are certain food that are unlimited but there are some food that you need to pay extra so as to get them. Just be careful with that.
However, make sure you make reservation as I said before, this place is rather small and if you walk in and see there are quite a few diners already, maybe going to other places will be better as it may get too crowded inside. Otherwise, this is a rather nice place that is worthy of giving it a try.
