$ 250 for Shellac Manicure — $ 100 for removal of existing Gel nails. Lisa Nails aren’t the cheapest in town but their professionalism is reflected in their busy, packed nail salon. I did my nails during my lunch hour and the staff knew I was in a hurry and wasted no time to set me up upstairs.(yes they were so busy downstairs was full) But with that said, my manicurist was fantastic and took the time to take care of cleaning up and preparing my nails for shellac. They claim shellac lasts for two to three weeks, at the three week point, my only problem with them was the fact that my nails were growing out too quickly! I got a tiffany blue color and it had begun to discolour(Maybe I read the newspaper too much?) but besides that the adherence to my nails stayed good. I will absolutely come back but make sure you make an appointment because they really get quick busy.

I have mixed reviews on Lisa Nail, but I would go back and give them another try in order to sort out my quandry. I went in for a basic manicure. So basic that I do not even wear polish. I just like them well maintained, cleaned up and neatly trimmed. Sarah my nail lady was quick and kind. She nicked my cuticle and we had a small bleeding event, which is never a good sign on a visit to a nail salon. It happens, but thus maybe the mixed review. Also in lue of no polish, there is no «buff to a shine» option which seemed a touch strange to me. I asked for it and it would take maybe an extra minute or two to do, but maybe the language barrier or something, but I got no buffing to a shine. The salon is nicer than Nail 88 across the way, which I also gave a 3, but has less of the«chop shop» feel(sorry to say it like that, but I call it like I see it!) This little spot is 85% clean and seems organized. Manicures are done on the first floor, pedicures are done on the second floor. The price is right at $ 130HKD for a traditional manicure, but the nick of my cuticle and not even buffing my nails to a shine in light of no polish was kind of a negative from my viewpoint.

After I ended up last week getting a pedicure at a place where they barely knew what a pedicure meant, I got a lovely and professional pedicure and manicure at Lisa Nail today. I had to make an appointment because the place is always packed. Obviously because their service is fantastic and the staff is friendly. My nails looked fab and I felt wonderfully relaxed after 90 min. at Lisa´s. I asked for regular nailpolish and they put it on it the way it should be done: OPI polish(lots of colours to choose from), 2 layers and top coat to finish off. The pedicure costs HK$ 250 and the manicure HK$ 130. Well worth it and they use great products. Trust me, if they didn´t use great products, I´d already have an allergic reaction. They also offer gelnails which lasts till they grow out. I´ll certainly be back.
